On-Campus Jobs

At CSU, you’ll get prepared to be Christ centered and career ready. You know this already.

That’s why, when we talk about on-campus employment, we’re not talking about just a typical job. The jobs you’ll see listed below are especially designed to help you deepen your walk with Christ and prepare well for your future career through experience-based learning opportunities.

On campus employment positions are limited.  Click HERE to see some of CSU’s employment opportunities and find answers to common questions.

On-campus employment applications open on July 15 for the following school year.

After July 15, you can click HERE to apply. (Applications submitted before that date cannot qualify for the following school year’s employment.)

Here’s what you can expect if you apply after July 15:

  1. We will receive and review your application.
  2. If a hiring director is interested, you will be contacted for an interview.
  3. Most hires won’t take place until the first two weeks of the semester.
  4. Some interviews will take place via phone/video prior to the semester beginning; be sure to check your student email weekly.

*Students who are under 18 years old and looking for employment in Pennsylvania (both on and off campus) are required to have a permit from their home school district.

Federal Work Study

Students who qualify for Federal Work Study are not guaranteed an employment position. If you are hired, Student Employment will work with Financial Aid to review your Federal Work Study qualification and add you to the program.

Documentation

Students who are offered an interview and hired will be required to produce original documents for employment verification. If a student is unable to produce these documents, CSU will not be able to proceed hiring a student. If you plan on securing employment on campus, you will need to have these documents on campus. You can view acceptable documents here.

Student Employment & Career-Readiness Office

The Student Employment and Career-Readiness office facilitates opening and closing positions, communicating available positions and on-boarding student employees. We also have some connections with local employment opportunities that we can help guide our students toward.

Additionally, we partner with Academics and the Office for Student Development to provide career-readiness opportunities to students that include career guidance, interview skills, cover-letter writing, resume development and financial planning.
